Michelle Pruiett has been selected as the 2022-2023 Kendall-Whittier Elementary Teacher of the Year!
This is Michelle's fourteenth year at Kendall-Whittier where she teaches third grade.
"I get the pleasure of teaching math, science, social studies, and English language arts," she said. "My favorite part of the job is when we get to do hands-on learning because that's when I see my kids' creativity and problem-solving skills really shine."
Michelle said she wanted to be a teacher as long as she can remember.
"It was important to me to go into a profession where I could help people and make a difference in my community."
