Pre-K and Kindergarten students WITH-OUT older Siblings *NEW Procedure*

  • Pre-K and Kindergarten students who do not have older siblings will be released for pick-up at 2:50 pm on the East circle drive
  • You will be given a green pass to be let into the east circle drive early
  • Please print in large letters the student’s and teacher’s last name on a piece of paper that is easily visible; the parent will hold it up for the teacher to see while staying in their car
  • STAY IN YOUR VEHICLE AT ALL TIMES
  • No parking in the lot or on the street
  • The left lane will be used for you to exit and go around the cars that are picking up students. Again, we ask all parents to please stay in your car; this will keep all of our students the safest.

Pre-K and Kindergarten Students With-Older Siblings and 1st-2nd Grade Students 

  • Picked up at 3:11 on the East Circle Drive
  • Please print in large letters the student’s and teacher’s last name on a piece of paper that is easily visible; the parent will hold it up for the teacher to see while staying in their car; someone will assist your child into the car
  • Patience will be greatly appreciated; STAY IN YOUR VEHICLE AT ALL TIMES
  • No parking in the lot or on the street
  • 1st and 2nd Grades (& older sibling): Please stay in the right lane if you are picking up 2nd or 1st grade students.  Once picked up, carefully pull into the left lane to follow the circle around to exit.
  • Parent of PK, K and 1st (& older sibling) after entering in the right lane in the circle drive, move to the left lane until you get to your child’s grade; then slowly move into the right lane to pick up curbside.  Once the student is safely in your car, carefully pull out into the left lane to exit.

   Walkers: 

  • Parents of students who Do NOT live in the neighborhood, do NOT park and walk in to meet them; Stay in your car and pick your student up in the correct pick up line
  • Parents coming from the South (front of school) please wait by the first sidewalk in the East Circle Drive just past the blue trash cans, if you have PK - 2 students. 
  • Parents from the North (park side) please wait by the fenced ball court in the park, if you have PK - 2 students.
  • 3rd - 6th grade students who are walkers are released out the back doors of their hallway into the park or out the front exits when walked out with their teacher. 
  • 3rd - 6th grade walkers who have younger siblings in PK - 2nd, will pick them up from their teacher on the east circle drive and then walk home OR stay for parent pick up, staying with the youngest sibling’s class
  • Walkers will be expected to leave school grounds; they are NOT allowed to stay on campus to socialize. 
  • Parents of sibling walkers: on the first day back, please let each of your childrens’ teachers know that their child is a walker; please indicate if the parent will pick them up on foot or if the older sibling will be escorting the siblings home.  

      3 - 6th Parents without Younger Siblings *NEW PROCEDURE*

  • If you do not have Pk - 2nd grade students, please travel north on ATLANTA to pick up your students IN THE PARK BEHIND THE SCHOOL. Pull up to the curb where your child’s teacher is located and student(s) will get into your car at the curb. They will only be able to get into cars at the curb in front of teachers. They will not be allowed to cross the street and get into cars.  
  • STAY IN YOUR VEHICLE AT ALL TIMES
  • NO PARKING in the lots or on the street
  • 3- 6th With Younger siblings:  see above

*In case of inclement weather/natural disaster/emergency event

  • Stay tuned to your radio/TV/phone and listen for school closing updates
  • Students, grades PreK – 2nd and their older siblings, will report to the cafeteria; parents will pick up their students in the cafeteria.
  • Students, grades 3 – 6th with no younger siblings will report to the gymnasium; students will be picked up in the gym.
  • Parent Pick-Up:  please be on time to pick up your students; if someone else is picking up your student, send them to the correct location
  • After 2:50, if your child  has not  yet been picked  up, late pick-up rules  apply and you will be required  to show your Photo ID
  • Flags:  on the flag pole, a yellow flag indicates INSIDE RELEASE, and the red flag indicates NO SCHOOL
