We follow the Tulsa Public Schools dress code. No brand names, advertisements, or designs other than school or district approved spirit-wear are allowed.

CLOTHING
- Colors:
- White, royal blue, navy, yellow, black, or gold
- Outerwear
- Students must store coats, hats, gloves, scarves, etc, in their lockers at school.
- Outerwear will not be permitted in classrooms, cafeterias, libraries or other areas of the school building after arrival, unless authorized by the school's administration (safety).
- Head coverings
- Scarves, curlers, do-rags, bandanas, sweatbands or hats will not be worn in class unless prescribed by a physician, for religious purposes, and/or approved by the school administration (i.e. silly hat day).
TOPS
- Polo shirts, button down shirts, plain sweatshirts and Kendall-Whittier/TU spirit-wear will be allowed, in school colors.
- Girls: no spaghetti straps.
- All: if wearing a sweatshirt, a uniform colored shirt must be worn underneath.
- Kids get hot after playing outside and need to be in uniform if they take them off when coming in.
- Sweaters/sweatshirts must be in school colors.
- Undershirts must be in the same colors listed above.
- Undergarments shall not be visible.
PANTS, SKIRTS, JUMPERS
- Pants:
- Khaki, navy, black solids.
- Solid color jeans in school colors are permitted (no holes or fashion holes).
- No cargo pants (pants with outside pockets on the thigh; safety).
- Skirts/jumpers:
- Khaki, navy, black, yellow plaid (it's okay if there is green in the plaid pattern).
- Pants and shorts shall be worn at the waist or high hip.
- Belts are encouraged.
- Undergarments shall not be visible.
- Shorts and skirts must be of modest length defined as no higher than six inches above the knee; girls should wear shorts/leggings under their skirts for playing on the playground.
FOOTWEAR
- Closed-toed shoes and sandals with back straps are allowed.
- Boots are allowed when appropriate for the weather.
- No flip-flops or slippers allowed.
SYMBOLS
- Symbols, mottoes, words or acronyms that convey profane, sexually explicit, gang or anti-social groups are not allowed.
- Symbols, mottoes, words or acronyms advertising tobacco, alcohol, or illegal drugs or drug paraphernalia are not allowed.
- Symbols, mottoes, words or acronyms which profess violence or hatred toward one’s fellow man are not allowed.
